Two immersive journeys into Lincoln’s life make up the museum experience in this new facility. A reproduction of his boyhood home in Indiana is the entry to Journey One, which takes us from his childhood to his election as President. A reproduction of the White House as it looked in 1861 is the entry point for Journey Two, which spans Lincoln’s Presidency.
ETI worked closely with the museum creative team headed by BRC Imagination Arts to develop this truly special destination experience. ETI was given the challenging task of designing and creating a control system that would synchronize a myriad of different technologies. These systems included the overall soundscape in several areas and over two dozen computer interactives employed in various exhibits. Many of the interactives make use of media projection and computer touch panels. ETI worked closely with the companies providing the computer software to design the best and sturdiest system possible.
