The main audiovisual objective for these two newly constructed Pacific and Doheny Ballrooms audiovisual was to incorporated a Room Combining System. 

Each Ballroom could be broken down to four smaller individual room or any combination required.  The design allows the end user to have individual limited control of their audiovisual environment which included projection and audio reinforcement systems from a keypad interface  and a wall mounted connectivity panel within each room.   

When campus staff technical personnel were required to participate in special events, a master AV Control Room allowed more flexibility for system configuration.  Cobranet was utilized for digital audio routing, playback video/audio incorporated Cat 5 distribution.  Any of the four events could be routed to a pre-function area.

A sampling of manufactures equipment incorporated into the system are:Crestron, Peavey NION, AutoPatch, and Yamaha.
